The Building

Built in the 1930s, St James Business Centre was originally a shirt factory.

During the war the building‘s basement was used as an air raid shelter, and remnants of these can still be seen today.  It was then converted in the 1980s to an office building.  In 2014, the building was acquired by Wire Regeneration, a joint venture between Langtree and Warrington Borough Council.

St James Business Centre is an 80,000 sq ft building offering serviced, conventional and virtual office space to rent in Warrington.  We also offer co-working space for those who need flexible working without the demands of permanent office space.

We can cater for businesses of any size and type, which makes us the perfect environment to help your business to grow and thrive.

The building has:

  • Extensive on-site car parking
  • A children’s nursery
  • Cafe serving Costa coffee
  • Meeting rooms to hire by the hour
  • Fully staffed reception facility
  • Large communal break out spaces

Located on the outskirts of Warrington town centre, St James Business Centre is ideally situated for all forms of transport; within a 10-minute walk of both Warrington Central and Bank Quay train stations and a short drive to the motorway network for the M62, M6 and M56.

Commenting on his firm’s move to St James Business Centre, Graham Roberts, commercial director at ABL said: “As an expanding business we needed a home that offered everything in a single package, with flexibility to scale up as we grow.  Our work takes us around the north west so on-site car parking and Warrington’s central position in the regional economy made St James Business Centre the perfect choice.”
